News On Tomb Raider Reboot Including Multiplayer

Tomb Raider Reboot

So we all know that Lara Croft is back very soon in a reboot of the series that will look to try and win back the hearts of it’s loyal fan-base. The Tomb Raider games are a massive franchise with even movies being made on the back of the games telling you just how big these games are.

This reboot game was actually supposed to be released this year (2012) but had to be delayed for a while until spring 2013. Now though, we know exactly why there was a delay on the finished product because of a multiplayer feature was to be installed into the game.

The British retailer “Game” kindly leaked that information out when it gave a slight obvious clue regarding multiplayer in Tomb Raider for the very first time ever. They put on their poster “survive as a team” and now everyone knows exactly what that means.’

We put up a post just last week saying about the game developers Crystal Dynamics want to change the way you play Tomb Raider games forever. Well this is exactly what they were going on about when they came out with that statement.

This is not a massive difference as the majority of games these days have multiplayer put into their system. It will just feel a little weird to the hardcore gamers that have been following Lara since she first came on the scene on the original PlayStation.

Lara will return this spring on March 5th 2013 as a much younger Lara Croft in the official Tomb Raider reboot game. Make sure you stay connected with us as we are here to bring you the very latest on any news regarding the Tomb Raider series.
