Blizzard have announced via their Battle.net forums that a new update for Diablo 3 is on the way. The update is 1.0.7 and it will see a change in the name dueling to brawling.
The game developers said that it was not the appropriate name that they thought it would be. So instead, they have decided to give it a name change via this new update.
This comes off the back of the news that the title has sold well over 12 million copies to date. The game has become a fans-favourite and continues to grow.
Many fans gave their feedback on the name and said that it should be changed which is one of the reasons why Blizzard decided on this act. The update is intended to be fun with players beating each other up even more than before.
Blizzard said that the name dueling didn’t best describe what actually goes on in the game. Instead, brawling does in fact give the proper meaning to the type of gameplay involved in Diablo 3.
