1 Million play Tomb Raider in 48 Hours

Tomb Raider Sales

The new Tomb Raider reborn game that came out earlier this week has had over one million people play the game in under 48 hours after it’s big launch. This was a major reboot of the series to get the Tomb raider games back to their absolute best.

The revamping of the entire series, including the main character Lara Croft, has seemed to work a treat. This was the first Tomb Raider game to be released since the 2008 game (Tomb Raider Underworld) was launched.

Many of the hardcore fans suggested that Tomb Raider Underworld was the one title in the series that nearly killed it off completely. Karl Stewart who’s the global brand director of the new Tomb Raider reborn game tweeted the news regarding the one million players.

The figure in question though, is either the total individual online players, or the actual total game sales. Whichever it is, the new Tomb Raider certainly has delivered on all fronts. There will also be more copies of the game in stores very soon. The title has had a few bugs and glitches since it’s inception but a fix has been promised to be on the way soon.

The new Tomb Raider Reborn game came out on March 5th on the Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3. What are your opinions on the completely revamped Lara Croft Tomb Raider game? Let us know by commenting in the box below our post.
