A Wii U exclusive version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution director’s cut is to be released by Square Enix. So far though, there’s not been an official release date confirmed by the Japanese video game developer.
The director’s cut Wii U version will have many features that include augmented sniping, touch-screen hacking via GamePad, grenade throwbacks, an interactive map editor and exclusive developer commentaries as well. There will also be general in-game guides to help players improve.
The game is set in a dystopian future and follows the story of Adam Jensen, a security specialist equipped with cybernetic enhancements. The Director’s Cut edition of Deus Ex: Human Revolution includes several improvements and additional content compared to the original release. Some of the notable features in the Director’s Cut version include enhanced boss battles with new strategies and options, improved visuals and graphics, reworked AI behavior, and improved game balance. It also incorporates the downloadable content (DLC) from the original release.
The Wii U version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut takes advantage of the Wii U GamePad’s unique features. It utilises the touchscreen functionality for in-game menu navigation, weapon selection, and hacking mini-games. The GamePad can also display an interactive map, allowing players to plan their routes and monitor objectives.
The Missing Link level and Tongs’ Rescue mission will also be included along with improved AI, amazing visual improvements and little tweaks to all the combat in the game. We’ll let you know as soon as we’ve got the release date confirmed by Square Enix.
