Star Trek Online: Legacy of Romulus Screenshots & New Trailer Released

The upcoming Star Trek Online: Legacy of Romulus video game has had screenshots and an all new teaser trailer released today by Cryptic. The MMO expansion is out in May this year.

The massively multiplayer online role-playing game is one of the biggest on the Internet today. Competing against well know games like League of Legends and Dota 2. The Star Trek franchise has a massive fan-base though, so very little in mistakes and effort would not go down well with all the loyal trekkers.

Here are some key features and information about Star Trek Online: Legacy of Romulus:

1. Romulan Faction: Legacy of Romulus introduces the Romulan Republic as a playable faction, allowing players to create Romulan characters and experience the game from a Romulan perspective. Players can align themselves with either the Federation or the Klingon Empire as they navigate the politics and conflicts of the Star Trek universe.
2. Storyline and Missions: The expansion pack adds a new storyline that delves into the Romulan Republic’s struggle for independence and the events following the destruction of Romulus. Players can engage in new missions and story arcs specific to the Romulan faction, exploring their space and interacting with iconic Star Trek characters.
3. New Starships and Customisation: Legacy of Romulus introduces a range of new starships for players to command, including Romulan Warbirds and Reman vessels. Additionally, players can customise their vessels with unique visuals, equipment, and upgrades to suit their playstyle.
