Company of Heroes 2 Multiplayer Closed Beta Dated

Company of Heroes Closed Beta

Relic Entertainment have announced the multiplayer closed beta for their upcoming Company of Heroes 2 video game. The beta will be running continuously for around two weeks and then come to a stop. This will include six competitive maps to play across all the 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 game modes. An open beta should also arrive at some point in the summer.

The World War 2 video game is being developed by Relic Entertainment and published by gaming giants Sega. It’s set on the Eastern Front of World War II, focusing on the conflict between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. Players command Soviet forces as they engage in various historical battles and campaigns, depicting the harsh realities of war in the brutal winters of the Eastern Front.

Company of Heroes 2 introduces a dynamic weather system that impacts gameplay. Harsh winter conditions can affect mobility, visibility, and combat effectiveness, adding an additional layer of strategy and realism to the game. Players will be able to use the Army Customiser tool to level up to level 40 too. There will be a number of DLC introduced upon release so keep your eyes peeled for that.

The closed beta for the real-time strategy game will begin on April 2nd 2013 with the full version out on June 25th in North America and Europe. We’ll have more information as the time looms ever closer regarding the multiplayer beta.
