One of the biggest first-person shooters will be getting a spin-off edition in the not so distant future. Yes, we’re talking about Far Cry 3, and the box artwork that has leaked on the NeoGaf Forums this week.
Game developers Ubisoft have not yet confirmed or denied the rumours of a spin-off box set being released in the future. We’re expecting them to make the announcement in next few days. The title will be a downloadable version of the much loved Far Cry 3 series.
There was a controversial listing placed on the Brazilian ratings board earlier in the week. Next to the listing was an 18+ rating that specified extreme violence, Sex and Drugs. The PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 were the three main platforms that were listed as the chosen platforms for launch.
The fact that Far Cry 3 done so well in terms of sales, with a staggering 4.5 million copies sold worldwide, meant that Ubisoft announcing that there will be more to come from the series. Blood Dragon could be the first in a long line of releases for the popular shooter.
