Activision have confirmed that the new COD title will indeed be called Call of Duty: Ghosts after months of speculation. Thy have even setup a brand new Facebook page that is solely about the upcoming video game shooter. Also, with that, there’s even hints about next-gen versions for the upcoming Sony PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The Facebook page doesn’t have much in the way of content on it at this present moment in time. Activision will put that right in the coming weeks though with a Twitter tweet from the official Call of Duty account tweeting RT if you’re ready for the next generation of the Call of Duty franchise.

Many gaming sites including ours, suggested for months that the new game would be called Ghosts. Now, we’ve been proved completely right in this latest revelation. Retailers have already suggested that the game will be out on the Nintendo Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3. No mention though, of wither of the next-gen console versions.

Activision are now preparing themselves for a massive reveal to the general public that will see a big budget go into it too. They look like they are waiting for the new Xbox to be officially announced before going ahead with the announcement though.

There’s currently no leaks or information on the storyline that will appear in the latest edition. Many will be able to get the idea that it’ll be about ghosts rather than zombies this time around. We’ll have more to follow on this huge story as soon as more details are revealed in due course.
