Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag Trailer

Ubisoft have released a brand new trailer for their highly anticipated upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. The trailer is just over 2 minutes long and showcases the historical events that will take part in the game.

This latest title will be no different from the previous installment, in the fact that it’ll contain real historical events and based on real people’s stories. As we know already, Black Flag will be set in the Caribbean for the majority of the game. Now, the developers (Ubisoft) have launched a brand new historical context video.

The developers want to focus their game on the early 18th century, a time when pirates were at their peak of their powers. The team have done plenty of research to make sure that the game does the time-line justice. The time-frame also ties-in with lead character in AC4BF Edward Kenway.

Overall, we feel that Ubisoft want to get the message across that the pirate era wasn’t just about captains with parrots on their shoulders drinking rum and stealing goods. They want to make an historical video game that will be enjoyable to play at the same time.
