VanillaWare and Atlus have released a brand new system trailer for Dragon’s Crown. The video was uploaded by the team themselves and it showcases the games collectable treasure art, multiplayer feature, skill upgrade system and much more.

The game features Vanillaware’s signature hand-drawn art style, which showcases intricate and beautifully detailed 2D graphics.

In Dragon’s Crown, players assume the role of one of six character classes: Fighter, Dwarf, Amazon, Wizard, Elf, or Sorceress. Each class has its own unique abilities, playstyle, and skill tree, offering different gameplay experiences. Players embark on a quest to recover the legendary artifact known as the Dragon’s Crown while exploring dangerous dungeons and battling hordes of enemies.

The gameplay of Dragon’s Crown combines side-scrolling action with RPG elements. Players can engage in intense combat using a variety of melee and ranged attacks, spells, and special abilities. As they progress, they can level up their characters, acquire new equipment, and unlock powerful skills to enhance their abilities.

One notable feature of Dragon’s Crown is its cooperative multiplayer mode, which supports up to four players either locally or online. Players can team up with friends or other adventurers to tackle dungeons together, combining their skills and coordinating strategies.

The action role-playing video game is due for launch this summer on the PS Vita and PlayStation 3 on 25th of July in Japan and August 6th 2013 in North America. A European release date has not been set and is to be confirmed in the future.
