Terraria For Mobile, Arriving This Summer

505 Games have recently announced that their action-adventure/RPG title (Terraria) will be heading to mobile platforms this summer.

The Indie game has already been launched on the PSN, XBLA and Windows PC, and it’s arriving on the PS Vita soon, followed by mobile in the next couple of months.

The iOS mobile version will support Facebook integration, include leader boards, achievements and have an entirely new revamped controls system that will work well with touch screens perfectly.

Terraria offers a vast and procedurally generated 2D world for players to explore. With a focus on exploration and adventure, players can dig, build, mine, and fight their way through a wide variety of environments and biomes. The game features a robust crafting system that allows players to gather resources and create a wide range of items, weapons, armour, and structures. From simple wooden tools to powerful magical weapons, players have the freedom to create and customise their own gameplay experience.

Users will have to farm plenty of coins in the game. There are several types of coins in Terraria, each with its value and rarity. The main types include copper coins, silver coins, gold coins, and platinum coins. Copper coins are the most common and have the lowest value, while platinum coins are the rarest and most valuable.

There are also challenging boss encounters that test players’ skills and provide unique rewards upon defeating them. As players progress and defeat bosses, they unlock new areas, items, and NPCs, expanding the game’s possibilities.

Codeglue are currently developing the title, and it’ll be making it’s way to tablets and phones in mid-summer 2013.
