To celebrate the release of the Vengeance DLC on July 2nd next week, Treyarch Studios are offering players a double XP weekend starting this Friday 28th June at 10am PDT and ending on July 1st 10am PDT.
The free XP weekender is open to any platforms, so it doesn’t necessarily matter if you don’t own an Xbox 360 console. The game developers took to Twitter in making the announcement and the tweet can be seen below.
Vengeance is a dish best served with Double XP, so look for it this Friday, June 28 (10am/PDT), running through Monday, July 1 (10am/PDT).

This is one of many in a long line of freebie weekends that Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has hosted. We predict that it certainly won’t be the last either as many more are expected to come in the following months ahead.
