EA Sports have surprisingly (out of the blue) announced a brand new entry to the long-running FIFA football series with FIFA World being officially revealed in a press release today.

The game will be a PC exclusive, and a free-to-play module that will be intended for Russian and Brazilian gamers especially. The new entry has been thought up for the Russian and Brazilian gamers that can’t get access to the other titles in the series.

There’s not much difference from this title, compared to the current versions, as the HD console gameplay will be included, along with the career mode and the popular Ultimate Team.

FIFA World will be available via broadband, and will run on laptops and general average spec computers. It’ll have all the 600 officially licensed clubs and 30 major leagues as well. The Russian Football Premier League and 19 top clubs from the Brazilian league will also be included.

EA Sports group general manager Matt Bilbey said:

“Brazil and Russia are priority markets for EA SPORTS and especially our FIFA brand. We are excited to bring to these markets a custom-built, free-to-play PC experience developed around FIFA Ultimate Team.”
