PES 2014 developers Konami have released the third video tutorial in a week, this time detailing the new “Heart System” feature that effects players mentality, confidence and overall moral on the pitch.
Depending on a players mood during a live game, if he’s feeling down, then he’ll play extremely poor, but if he’s feeling on top of the world. then you’ve got a top player in your ranks.
Regarding the new footage that’s been released for it, Konami had this to say about the new feature:
“The Heart system sees many different aspects of a football match create an emotional impact on the players, which in turn affects their abilities for the better or for the worse.
“For example, if a player is playing well, stringing together lots of good passes or getting lots of good tackles in, the crowd will get behind him and this increased confidence will clearly be reflected in his game. At home games, the team will be able to feed off the support of the crowd, whilst the opponents may feel intimidated by this atmosphere.”
