According to Capcom Unity, Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara is expected to land on the Nintendo Wii U eShop at some point in September next month. It was originally supposed to launch alongside the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC versions way back in June, but the submission process came across some unexpected issues.
Over the course of this past week, there’s been much discussion on the official Capcom-Unity forums where a post has pointed out that the company has tried it’s absolute best to sort out the constant development issues that keep on arising. Overall, this is the main reason for the title’s delay in being released on the Nintendo platform.
One of the posts from Capcom senior vice-president Christian Svensson read:
We regret to inform you all that the release of the Wii U version of Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara has moved to September,” noted the Capcom Unity Blog. “There have been a number of development issues and despite our best efforts, the delay could not be avoided.
