Gary Neville Joins FUT 14 As Columnist

Former England International, Manchester United legend, and current Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has joined this years FIFA 14 Ultimate Team as a regular fortnightly columnist for the whole duration of the 2013/14 season. He’ll write various posts on the very latest news from the Barclay’s Premier League that consists of the best players and teams of the week, as well as the main talking points.

The deal between Mr Neville and EA Sports see’s him land an ambassadorial role in which his work can be viewed on the official EA website bi-weekly. Neville will also be appearing with other icons of the beautiful game in the Xbox-exclusive FIFA Ultimate Team Legends content as well. With regards to the appointment of his expertise, Neville said:

FIFA has become such an integral part of football culture that I hope to bring benefit to the fans. FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars, I can’t wait to see myself out on the (digital) pitch again.

Shaun White who’s the head of UK PR for EA commented saying:

We’re delighted to have signed Gary for the 2013/14 season, his knowledge of the game is unrivalled and we’ll be working together to give FIFA 14 players a deeper insight into the real world of football that will enhance their FIFA Ultimate Team experience.

The Man Utd icon retired after an incredible 19 years of top-flight football back in 2011, and now commentates regularly for Sky Sports. FIFA 14 is slated for a Sept 24 release in North America, and a worldwide launch on Sept 27, it’ll be heading to the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. A PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version will be out when the two respective systems launch later this fall.
