Assassin’s Creed: Unity Announced, Set In Paris France

Ubisoft have just announced in the past couple of hours that the new AC game will be entitled Assassin’s Creed: Unity, and it’ll be set on location in France, more specifically the capital Paris. The announcement effectively got made via a trailer that was released earlier on today for the upcoming adventure title.

It’s going to not only be set in 18th-century Paris , but it’ll be during the French Revolution. Check out the brand new footage below.

Talking about the game, Ubisoft said:

We have been working on the new Assassin’s Creed for more than three years and although we weren’t quite ready to show you our full vision for a next-gen only AC, it seems Abstergo are trying to force our hand.

So here’s a true first look at in-game footage from Assassin’s Creed Unity. Stay tuned – we’ll have many more exciting details for you in the months ahead.

Another addition to the AC series is reportedly in the making at this present moment in time, it’s supposedly code-named Comet and will only be made available for the Xbox 360 and PS3. Unity will be released on the Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the summer of 2014. An official release date will be announced in the next couple of weeks by the developers.
