While a firm release date is still under wraps, a thrilling new trailer gave us an exciting glimpse of the daring archeologist’s latest adventure.

The extended preview opens with Indy (voiced by Troy Baker) and his partner Gina making a startling discovery high in the freezing Himalayas.

However, their expedition is quickly interrupted when a group of nefarious Nazi forces storm their snowy base camp.

In classic Indiana Jones fashion, an intense action sequence unfolds as the two heroes try to escape the evil Germans’ clutches.

Gina flees while Indy finds himself captured and interrogated by the sneering Nazi commander.

Just when it seems the dashing hero is out of luck, a mysterious offscreen ally steps in to turn the tables on Indy’s captors through a series of clever tricks and traps.

The thrilling scene perfectly captures the spirit of the beloved film series with its blend of high-stakes adventuring, cunning heroics, and antagonists dripping with over-the-top villainy.

Beyond the pulse-pounding action itself, the trailer also showcases some remarkable technical achievements by developer Machine Games (of Wolfenstein fame).

Highly detailed character models and realistic facial animations bring the digital versions of Indy and his cohorts to life with an impressive degree of fidelity.

Even seasoned Indiana Jones fans have praised how accurately Troy Baker’s voice work is able to channel the iconic presence of Harrison Ford in the role.

Between the rich environments, cinematic combat, and AAA production values on display, it really does feel like you’re watching a brand new Indiana Jones movie at times.
