From brand new photos unveiled by Theme Park Insider, it’s clear that Super Nintendo World will recreate numerous legendary locations from classic games. These include:

Princess Peach’s Castle: The grand palace watched over by the beloved Princess will likely house magical experiences fit for Nintendo royalty.

Bowser’s Castle: Venture into the lair of the fire-breathing villain Bowser, with surprises lurking around every corner.

Mushroom Kingdom Plains: Stroll through lush green landscapes reminiscent of the opening levels in Mario’s quests to rescue the Princess.

An Expansion Fit for a Kong

While the Mario universe takes centre stage, Super Nintendo World also features a massive area dedicated to the adventures of Donkey Kong.

This section will be home to an exhilarating roller coaster ride themed around the famous ape and his banana hoard escapades.

Future Realm Expansions?

Interestingly, the Donkey Kong area appears to have additional open space surrounding it.

This has sparked speculation that Universal Orlando may eventually expand Super Nintendo World even further, potentially adding themed lands based on other iconic Nintendo franchises like Pokemon or The Legend of Zelda.

Ironically, this isn’t the first time gaming has taken centre stage at world renowned theme parks. The famous Star Wars droids were used in a promo for the Steam Deck at Disneyland in October last year.

As construction progresses on schedule, excitement continues to build for this ambitious undertaking. When the gates finally open in 2025, families and gamers of all ages will have the chance to step directly into the iconic worlds they’ve explored through their consoles and handhelds.

From navigating colourful mushroom-topped pipes to braving the perils of Donkey Kong’s mine cart mayhem, Universal Orlando’s Super Nintendo World promises an unforgettable adventure.

Get ready to power up and immerse yourself in sheer gaming magic!
