EA and Capital Games have announced that The Lord Of The Rings: Heroes Of Middle-earth, their highly anticipated turn-based strategy RPG, will finally be available for mobile devices starting May 10th. The game was initially unveiled last summer and received a sneak peek at its gameplay in September last year. A new gameplay trailer has been released today too which we will give the details about in this article.
In Heroes Of Middle-Earth, players are able to assemble their own dream teams of iconic characters from The Lord Of The Rings franchise, such as Frodo, Aragorn and Gandalf to name a few. These teams can then be deployed in turn-based battles against the vast armies of Sauron. The game boasts a captivating story mode with unique narratives set in the rich and vast Hobbit/LOTR universe. Furthermore, players can put their teams to the test by participating in PvP modes, competing against friends and rivals alike.

In the game, players have the ability to customise their characters with distinctive skills and equipment, obtainable either as rewards in the game or through in-app purchases. However, details regarding the pricing of items and in-game currency have not been disclosed yet.
On May 10th, The Lord Of The Rings: Heroes Of Middle-earth will release on both iOS and Android mobile devices so mark that date down in your calendar.
