How We Source Information
Every factual claim in a GLN article is backed by a named source. That may be an official press release, a publisher statement, a patch note, a store listing, a developer interview, or first-hand testing on the platform under review. When a source is publicly accessible, we link to it. When information comes from an embargoed briefing or a review code provided by a publisher, we disclose that in the article.
We do not publish rumours as fact. If a story is unconfirmed, we say so.
Review Policy
Our full review methodology is available on the How We Review Games page. In summary: every game reviewed on GLN is played on the platform named in the review title. Scores use a 10-point decimal scale. Review codes are sometimes provided by publishers; this is always disclosed. GLN does not accept payment for review scores, and no publisher or developer has any input into our verdict.
Corrections Policy
We correct errors. If a factual mistake is found in any article — a wrong date, a misattributed quote, an incorrect specification — we fix it and append a correction note at the bottom of the article stating what was changed and when. Minor typographical fixes are made without a note.
