The nominee selections have been officially unveiled for this year’s edition of The Game Awards, recognising the greatest gaming achievements of 2023 across a wide span of categories.
The show will air live on December 7th from Los Angeles. Fans can now visit The Game Awards website to vote for their choices in each category leading up to the event.
Over 100 media outlets worldwide make up the voting jury – including GameSpot. Winners will be determined by a blend of the jury voting and fan input.

At last year’s show, FromSoftware’s Elden Ring emerged victorious for GOTY on the strength of its enormous open world and Soulsborne gameplay formula.
God of War Ragnarok cleaned up with six total awards, the most of any title. Elden Ring took home four including Game of the Year.
