As a celebration of motorsport history, bringing one of its most hallowed grounds to Forza Motorsport provides a major highlight for Update 4. The inclusion of Florida’s famed Daytona International Speedway checks off a significant omission.

Players can now tackle Daytona’s steeply banked tri-oval circuit that hosts the iconic 24-hour endurance race. The longer 3.59 mile sports car course will also challenge seasoned drivers. New multiplayer events focused on Daytona provide diverse competitions on the storied pavement.

This update shows developer Turn 10’s commitment to continually expanding the lineup of real-world tracks. Daytona now sits alongside other recent additions including Japan’s Suzuka circuit. More renowned courses will surely follow.

Homage to Historic Italian Racing

In addition to Daytona, Patch 4 spotlights Italian automotive excellence via a new career mode tour. The four chapters focus on brands like Lancia, Alfa Romeo, and Ferrari through tailored events.

Completing the tour unlocks the cover car Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV as a reward. The Italian theme continues with new limited-time Spotlight cars in the shop like the 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale EVO.

For Car Pass owners, update cars include the 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The entire package provides a comprehensive celebration of Italian style and speed.

Ongoing Improvements

While previous updates targeted performance fixes and fan-requested features, Update 4 concentrates primarily on new content. But Turn 10 confirmed minor bug fixes are still coming to address lingering issues.

The developers are saving more intensive technical improvements for Patch 5 and beyond. This allows them to bundle fixes more efficiently rather than pushing small isolated changes.

Despite less extensive fixes this time round, continuous content additions keep Forza Motorsport dynamic and engaging. The Daytona track alone brings massive value, recreating one of racing’s most hallowed cathedrals. Paired with new community events and challenges, it delivers hope for the game’s bright future.
