Smite 2 Founder’s Packs, Choose Your Tier for Alpha Access
The highly-anticipated hero shooter sequel Smite 2 is gearing up for its closed alpha testing phase. To prep fans, developer Titan Forge has pulled back the curtain on the game’s upcoming Founder’s Pack editions, representing the first chance for players to go hands-on. You can watch the overview trailer below:
In total, three distinct bundle tiers will be available for purchase leading into the alpha kickoff.
Each grants early admission and an assortment of exclusive digital goodies packed in. The headlining “Ultimate” edition is the most premium option at $99.99, though budget-conscious MOBA mavens can opt for the standard $29.99 base bundle instead.
Here’s a breakdown of what each Smite 2 Founder’s Pack includes:
Standard Edition ($29.99)
- Full game access
- All Smite 2 gods unlocked
- Exclusive avatar, badge, and title
- 2x bonus Legacy Gems currency
Deluxe Edition ($59.99)
- Everything from the Standard Edition
- Nightstalker Neith premium skin (cross-gen compatible with Smite 1)
- Ascension Pass progression boosts for 11 gods at alpha launch
Ultimate Edition ($99.99)
- Everything from the Deluxe Edition
- The Fallen Zeus Tier 5 premium skin (cross-gen with Smite 1)
- Unique Ultimate badge and title
- Ascension Pass progression for the first 23 alpha gods
The more expensive Deluxe and Ultimate packs provide a major headstart through their included Ascension Passes. This new progression system, which Titan Forge will detail ahead of Smite 2’s summer launch, allows players to rapidly unlock upgrades for their favourite gods.
A Tempting Pre-Order Bonus
As an extra incentive, anyone who purchases a Founder’s Pack prior to the alpha weekend will receive the exclusive Cacodemon Ymir skin for free. After the testing phase concludes, this demonic bonus cosmetic will return to the shop for individual purchase.
Founder’s Pack buyers can also take advantage of some cross-gen and cross-game benefits.
The premium skins included in the Deluxe and Ultimate tiers, for example, will carry over between the first title and Smite 2 on any linked accounts.
Other cosmetic unlocks can be used immediately in the original game upon purchase as well.
For those not ready to buy in just yet, Titan Forge confirmed additional chances to gain alpha access.
The developer plans to continue sending out invites through online signups and social media giveaways in the coming weeks. You can visit the official website for additional details too.
The third-person action MOBA will have crossplay and run on the smooth Unreal Engine 5 to produce stunning visuals.
With such a dizzying array of options, Smite veterans and newcomers alike have plenty of opportunities to experience the next evolution of Titan Forge’s hit hero shooter early. The Founder’s Packs represent an enticing way to skip the line while stocking up on cool bonuses along the way.
