Epic Games has unleashed its latest Limited-Time Mode (LTM) in Fortnite, bringing the Marvel universe to life in an exciting new way. The Day of Doom LTM pits Doom’s Henchmen against the Avengers in a thrilling 32-player showdown, available until October 4th 2024.
A new trailer which can be viewed below was released by Epic to entice players to the LTM.

This Marvel-themed experience offers a unique twist on the traditional Fortnite gameplay. Players are divided into two teams, each with distinct objectives and abilities.
Doom’s Henchmen must collect six Arcane Artifacts scattered across the map, while the Avengers aim to thwart their efforts and eliminate Doom’s forces.
The mode introduces several innovative features to enhance the gameplay experience. Players enjoy regenerating Health and Shield outside of combat, immunity to fall damage, and unlimited ammo for all weapons. This setup is deliberate and encourages more aggressive and strategic play styles.
Doom’s Henchmen face the challenge of collecting artifacts, each requiring a 6-second interaction.
The first Henchman to collect an artifact becomes Doom’s Chosen, donning the Ultra Doom Armour which was previously only available from the Isle of Doom POI and gaining access to special abilities like the Scorch Beam and Mystical Gigabomb.
On the other side, Avengers players are assigned random loadouts based on iconic Marvel heroes, including Captain America, War Machine, Iron Man, and Black Panther.
Each loadout comes with unique weapons and abilities, adding variety and unpredictability to each respawn.
To access the Day of Doom LTM, players can navigate to the Discover tab in the Fortnite menu and locate the mode under the ‘By Epic’ category. Alternatively, the Search tab can be used to find it by name.
Whether players side with the forces of doom or join the ranks of Earth’s mightiest heroes, this limited-time mode promises an action-packed and memorable experience for the next three weeks.
