In a shock announcement during Summer Game Fest 2025, developer Neowiz revealed that Lies of P: Overture, the long-awaited DLC for the critically acclaimed Soulslike, is out now on all platforms for $29.99.
The news was shared via a dramatic new gameplay trailer, showcasing brutal combat, eerie environments, and grotesque new enemies – hallmarks of what has made Lies of P one of the most celebrated non-FromSoftware Soulslikes to date.

Lies of P: Overture serves as a narrative prequel, allowing players to explore the decaying beauty of Krat before it collapsed into chaos.
While full plot details remain under wraps, the trailer confirms that players will again take control of Pinocchio, armed with both familiar and new weapons, including a bow and Wolverine-like claws.
Director Jiwon Choi described the DLC as a “completion of the first arc” of the story, providing much-needed connective tissue between Lies of P and its eventual sequel.
