Saber Interactive has officially unveiled Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival, a new survival horror game rooted in the disturbing world of the iconic film series.
Developed in partnership with Boss Team Games, this single-player first-person experience is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The game marks the return of Doug Bradley as Pinhead, reprising the role for the first time in nearly 20 years.
An announcement trailer that’s exactly a minute and a half long was released, showcasing Pinhead, the Chatterer, Butterball, and the Female Cenobite.
In Hellraiser: Revival, players step into the role of Aidan, a man trapped in a deal with forces far beyond his understanding. To rescue his girlfriend, Sunny, from a brutal alternate realm known as the Labyrinth, Aidan must master both physical combat and the dark abilities unlocked through the Genesis Configuration – a puzzle box with ties to the Cenobites and their twisted dimension.
Combat blends melee and ranged weapons with supernatural powers, creating a dynamic and brutal survival system.
The world is filled with cultists, deviants, and the grotesque Cenobites, each driven by a doctrine that glorifies pain and corruption.

Horror gamers will be pleased to hear that this new Hellraiser game is a first-person single-player title rather than the overused asymmetrical multiplayer horror titles we’ve been seeing a ton of in the past few years.
Single-player horrors like The Thing and Layers of Fear have done extremely well, and although not as popular as multiplayer horror games like Dead by Daylight, they certainly hold their own. This resurrection of an all-time classic looks like it could follow-suit and be a real success.
Clive Barker, who personally consulted on the narrative, praised the developers for capturing the balance between terror and temptation. According to Barker, the team’s deep understanding of the mythos has led to a story that feels both fresh and true to the spirit of Hellraiser, exploring the beauty and horror found in extremes.
Beyond the core game, fans will have access to two Collector’s Editions available through Boss Team Games. These limited sets include a custom Hellraiser Puzzle Box replica with an in-game lighting effect, a display statue, and other licensed collectibles made specifically for the release.
