Marmalade Game Studio has unveiled a brand-new crime scene for its digital adaptation of CLUE/CLUEDO, taking the classic murder-mystery board game into much darker territory. The new Noir Mansion DLC launched on December 17, 2025, offering a stylish, film-noir twist on the Hasbro classic.
Set in the shadowy halls of Noir Mansion, the expansion challenges players to unravel a fresh murder mystery packed with intrigue, sharp dialogue, and suspicious characters who are anything but trustworthy. The setting introduces a more cinematic tone, leaning into dramatic lighting, vintage aesthetics, and morally grey suspects.
A Film-Noir Take on a Classic Mystery
Noir Mansion brings a substantial amount of new content to CLUE/CLUEDO. Players gain access to six new weapons, nine new rooms, nine new case files, and four vanity items, all themed around the noir setting. Every member of the familiar cast has also been redesigned with noir-inspired outfits to match the mood of the new crime scene.
One of the standout additions is a toggleable Noir filter, exclusive to the Noir Mansion board. Players can switch freely between full colour and a striking black-and-white presentation, allowing matches to be played either traditionally or with a classic film-noir look drenched in shadow. If you loved the Knives Out movies and dabble in a bit of Hercule Poirot, then you’re gonna love this game.
New Story, New Suspects, New Motives
The DLC also expands the narrative side of CLUE/CLUEDO. Set in Hue County following a shocking murder, players interrogate six suspects, each with murky backstories and questionable motives. The mystery can involve characters such as Scarlett, Mustard, Plum, Peacock, White, and Green, paired with era-appropriate weapons like a Mini Revolver, Civil War Musket with Bayonet, Rotary Phone, or Silver Candelabra.
Additional noir-themed cosmetics are included, such as new player avatars, card backs, themed clue sheets, a dice set, and a full collection of new tokens, letting players fully lean into the vintage detective aesthetic.
Platform Availability
The Noir Mansion crime scene is available now on Steam, iOS, Android, PlayStation, and Xbox, with Nintendo Switch support confirmed and arriving soon. The DLC can be accessed through the digital version of CLUE/CLUEDO across supported platforms.
Speaking about the release, Filipa Evangelista, Producer for CLUE/CLUEDO at Marmalade Game Studio, said the noir theme was a long-standing request from fans and a natural fit for the franchise’s murder-mystery roots.
CLUE/CLUEDO continues to be one of Marmalade Game Studio’s flagship digital board game titles, alongside adaptations of MONOPOLY, THE GAME OF LIFE, TICKET TO RIDE, and BATTLESHIP.
