Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Game Pass November 2026 Wave 1 line-up, confirming 15 games and subscription availability changes between November 3 and 17, alongside eight additions to Game Pass Essential.
The announcement includes day-one releases such as Warhammer Survivors, Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School and Tanuki: Pon’s Summer. Other titles are expanding to new subscription tiers or platforms rather than making their first Game Pass appearance.
According to Microsoft’s official November 3 announcement, Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers will receive different selections depending on their membership.

Several releases are worth distinguishing from completely new additions.
VOID/BREAKER reaches version 1.0 on November 4, expanding from its existing PC Game Pass availability to Xbox Series X|S and cloud gaming. Meanwhile, Vampire Crawlers and Aphelion are being added to Game Pass Premium after already becoming available through Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Football Manager 27 also has two important dates. The PC Launch Preview became available to eligible Game Pass subscribers on November 3, while the full game and its separate console edition launch November 10.
The console edition adds a more controller-focused management experience, while both versions support the series’ established club management, tactical planning and matchday systems.
Among the new releases, Warhammer Survivors brings bullet-heaven combat to the Warhammer universe on November 10. Developed by Auroch Digital in collaboration with Vampire Survivors developer poncle, it combines characters and enemies from Warhammer with large-scale enemy encounters.
Thronefall, arriving November 11, offers a different approach to strategy. Players construct and upgrade their kingdom during the day before defending it against enemy attacks at night.
For cooperative players, Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School launches November 5 with a new campus to explore and escape-room puzzles playable alone or with a friend through local or online co-op.
Microsoft also highlighted GRAVHOUNDS, which entered Game Preview on November 2 through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It appears separately in the announcement’s catch-up section rather than the main 15-game schedule.
Beyond the monthly Game Pass catalogue, Xbox recently offered five games through Free Play Days, including WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers and Dead by Daylight. Unlike regular subscription additions, these were temporary trials that ended by November 2, with Dead by Daylight the only title available without a Game Pass membership.
Eight Games Join Xbox Game Pass Essential on November 15
Game Pass Essential subscribers will receive eight additional games on November 15, 2026, with the selection focusing on established Xbox and Rare titles.

The selection gives Essential members access to several classic Xbox franchises, including all three listed Banjo-Kazooie games and both Viva Piñata titles.
Importantly, these are new additions to the Essential catalogue, not necessarily games making their first appearance anywhere on Xbox Game Pass.
I wouldn’t dismiss these additions as recycled games. A game becoming available through a lower subscription tier can be valuable to existing members, even when it has been playable through Ultimate for some time.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass in November 2026
Microsoft has also confirmed 13 games leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 15, giving subscribers a limited opportunity to finish them before they disappear from the catalogue.

Two additional departures were confirmed in Microsoft’s previous Game Pass announcement.
Football Manager 26 on PC and Football Manager 26 Console Edition across cloud, console and PC are scheduled to leave on November 10, the same day the full Football Manager 27 releases.
Players who want to continue playing any departing title after its removal will need to purchase it, provided it remains available for sale.
Game Pass represents only part of Xbox’s November release schedule, with 32 Xbox games arriving between November 2 and 6, including several paid releases outside the subscription catalogue.
Microsoft is expected to provide another Game Pass update later in November, so the current announcement should be treated as the first wave rather than the complete month’s schedule.
