Frogwares have recently announced a new chapter in the video game series for Sherlock Holmes which is called Crimes & Punishments. The Sherlock Holmes franchise has certainly caught on in recent years with two movies being released and successful and the video games are no different.
The latest adventure/mystery game will feature 8 levels or cases as they will be known as. Each one having to be solved by the most famous detective in the world. The game will be about what clever choices you make rather than pure skill that is needed in other video games of today.
Crimes & Punishments will also get a boost in the form of a new in game engine to use. Frogware are going to use a unreal engine 3 for this new Sherlock Holmes game. The actual Holmes character is also getting a lift as he is to be more of a modern day looking Sherlock.
The release date has not yet been set, so gamers will have to wait until we reveal that in due course. Sherlock Holmes Crimes & Punishments will be available for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
