The Saints Row 4 release date has today been confirmed by Deep Silver to be the 20th August 2013 in North America and 23rd August everywhere else. The game will launch on the current major consoles and also on the upcoming next gen video game consoles too.
Open-World Exploration At It’s Best
The Third Street Saints storyline will continue in Saints Row IV as you fight a battle against alien invasion amongst other interesting obstacles in your path. Volition are the game developers and the ongoing saga is set to be released on time with no delays imminent.
In the highly anticipated open-world action-adventure, players return to the fictional city of Steelport but with a twist. The player character, who has risen to the position of the President of the United States, must now fend off an alien invasion led by an extraterrestrial warlord named Zinyak. The game blends elements of third-person shooting, driving, and open-world exploration with superhuman abilities and an arsenal of outrageous weapons.
One of the key features of Saints Row IV is the inclusion of superpowers. As the leader of the Third Street Saints gang, players gain access to various superhuman abilities like super speed, super jump, telekinesis, and more. These powers allow for unique and overpowered gameplay, allowing players to wreak havoc on the city and alien invaders.
The game features a wide array of missions and activities, including main story missions, side quests, challenges, and various mini-games. The story-driven campaign is filled with humour, pop culture references, and over-the-top scenarios that parody various elements of video games and popular culture.
