Sony Confirm New God of War: Ascension DLC

Sony have just confirmed the first batch of details regarding the next piece of downloadable content for the God of War: Ascension multiplayer mode. All the details including new maps, armour, weapons and added extras were released via the official PlayStation Blog.

The third person action-adventure game launched back in March 2013, and since it’s release, the fans of the series have enjoyed playing through the single-player and multiplayer campaign modes.

The developers (Santa Monica Studio) have been consistently releasing add-on packs for the online mode. Now though, Sony Computer Entertainment have given some insight into what we can all expect from the upcoming DLC pack.

The second Primordial Weapons pack that includes the Mercenary Blade and Armor of Typhon can now be downloaded via the PS Store. There’s also a free Chimeran DLC armour that’s also available from the store too. God of War fans will be happy to hear that a new (free) DLC pack that will contain two small maps will also be released in the near future.

You can expect Sony to issue further details at the end of this current month (May) and we’ll also keep you up to date by posting the information on our website too.
