EA Sports and Liverpool football club have announced a three-year partnership for the latter to become an official FIFA 14 club partner for the beginning of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season.
The EA Sports FIFA Twitter account broke the news to all of their followers just over an hour ago as of the timing of this writing. One of LFC’s biggest rivals is fellow Merseyside club Everton, who’s home ground Goodison Park recently got added to the game.
However, this new deal today means that the red half of Merseyside now have their home ground of Anfield included too and can play the upcoming game throughout the season on selected matches. They’ll also be in with a chance of winning various prizes through the Goal of the Month competition.
Numerous 360 degree 3D digital head scans have been taken of the LFC superstars and just some of the names include Daniel Sturridge, Jordan Henderson, Steven Gerrard, and Philippe Coutinho.
Hardcore fans will also be able to download a LFC front cover for free and get exclusive content like behind-the-scenes images, match simulations and wallpapers. Just yesterday, FC Barcelona became official partners and now Liverpool are the second club to get on board.
A new trailer showcasing the 3D head scans can also be viewed below:
The best football title on the planet will be arriving on Sept 24th in North America and Sept 27th in the rest of the world for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U. The next-gen versions will be out later this year too.
