Nintendo have confirmed that Mario Golf: World Tour, which was supposed to get a release in North America this summer, and this fall in Europe, will still be launching in early 2014.
The company’s recent financials tell us that it was due out this summer as you’ll be able to see from the PDF link above. However, it’s not been updated in while, thus the confusion surrounding the matter.
During E3 2013, Nintendo actually officially announced that the game is to be delayed, and wouldn’t be out until next year.
In a statement to the Nintendo World Report website, a Nintendo representative said: “Nintendo of America can confirm the game will be available in 2014.”
When the title eventually makes it’s way to gamers all around the world for the 3DS, it’ll have a community feature that will discover new players to play golf with. It will also feature competitive real-time multiplayer matches from all around the globe.
