NHL 14 Demo Lands On Xbox 360 And PS3 Next Week

EA Sports have announced that the their yearly ice hockey title NHL 14 will be receiving a playable demo and it’ll be hitting the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week.

In a report, Gameinformer says that the demo will be landing on both of the formats on August 20th. It will be available to download via Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. European users will only be able to download the demo from Aug 21st onwards.

The taster will contain the ‘Play Now’ mode, and NHL 94 Anniversary Mode, which will see players control the Blackhawks and Bruins in the third period. Players will also get the chance to play an extremely short Hockey Ultimate Team tournament against the Blackhawks, Grand Rapids Griffins, Bruins and Halifax Mooseheads.

If you’re good enough to win the entire tournament, you’ll then receive some completely free Hockey Ultimate Team card packs that can be used in the full game once it’s out.
