In the upcoming action-adventure game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players will have the exciting opportunity to use meat arrows as a new weapon against their enemies.After the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017, fans have been eagerly anticipating a new entry in the series. Now, six years later, Tears of the Kingdom is on the horizon. While details about the game’s main storyline are still scarce, it appears that the new game will be closely linked to its predecessor.
During a gameplay demonstration in March, series producer Eiji Aonuma hinted at brand new abilities coming to The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Players were impressed with the diverse set of skills Link would have in the game, allowing for creative gameplay with abilities like Fuse and Ultrahand. Aonuma showcased the Fuse ability on melee weapons, shields, and arrows, catching the attention of players. When fusing a material with his arrow, a variety of resources were shown, including raw Meat. This finally confirms the existence and purpose of Meat arrows, a long-standing mystery for Zelda fans.
Immediately following the gameplay demonstration, fans were captivated by the prospect of Meat Arrows becoming a reality in the upcoming title. Meat Arrows & Gameplay Showcased In Video
This is so cool, and as anticipated, it has been confirmed that in Tears of the Kingdom, players can use meat arrows as a way to lure enemies towards a specific area. The meat at the end of the arrow will catch the enemy’s attention, causing them to move towards it to eat it. This will in-turn be providing a temporary distraction.
Additionally, players will also have the ability to throw materials without having to use the new Fuse skill. This means that players can hold a piece of raw meat and throw it themselves, adding another layer of strategy to the game. During the entirety of the preview event, this was just a drop in the ocean as far as new features are concerned.
