Key Highlights:
- Ciri and Yennefer have joined Fortnite as part of the Gaming Legends Series.
- Both characters arrive with Witcher-themed cosmetics in the Item Shop.
- Two limited-time islands also offer three free rewards until July 4.
Ciri and Yennefer of Vengerberg have joined Fortnite in a new crossover with The Witcher, expanding the collaboration that previously brought Geralt of Rivia to the battle royale.
Both characters are now available through the Item Shop as part of Fortnite’s Gaming Legends Series, while Epic Games has also launched two limited-time Witcher islands with free cosmetic rewards.
Ciri arrives with the Zireael Back Bling, which can be unsheathed and used as the Zireael Sword Pickaxe. Equipping the sword with the Ciri Outfit also causes her hands to produce a green glow.
The Basilisk Glider completes Ciri’s cosmetic set.
Yennefer of Vengerberg comes with the Bird Skull Back Bling, while the accompanying cosmetics include Yennefer’s Megascope Pickaxe and the Black Wings Emote, which summons her magical raven.
Their arrival continues a busy run of Fortnite collaborations following the recent Fortnite x Nike Airphoria crossover and the introduction of Optimus Prime through the Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass.
The collaboration extends beyond Item Shop cosmetics through two islands created by Team Unite in collaboration with Epic Games.
Ciri’s Escape tasks players with escaping the White Frost while travelling between different worlds. It can be accessed using island code 2776-4034-8400.
Yennefer’s Battleground instead focuses on combat, with players using swords, bows and magical abilities while defending their team’s base. Its island code is 2862-9616-5689.
Completing Ciri’s Escape unlocks the Confident Ciri Emoticon, while finishing Yennefer’s Battleground awards the Annoyed Yennefer Emoticon.
Players who complete both islands also receive The Tale of Two Tempests Banner.
The two experiences and their associated rewards remain available until July 4 at 8 PM ET.
Geralt previously joined Fortnite through the Chapter 4 Season 1 Battle Pass, meaning Ciri and Yennefer expand The Witcher representation rather than beginning the crossover from scratch.
Fortnite’s run of gaming crossovers also appears unlikely to stop here. Only days after Ciri and Yennefer arrived, evidence emerged of a possible Fortnite x The Elder Scrolls crossover, potentially bringing another fantasy RPG franchise into the game.
