Developer Nexon has pulled out all the stops with Update 1.5, introducing fresh characters, challenging battles, and a slew of gameplay tweaks that promise to keep players on their toes.
Update 1.5: A Game-Changer
The latest update, which dropped on July 31st, is nothing short of a game-changer.
Players can now get to grips with two new characters: Luna, a support character who brings a musical twist to the battlefield, and Ultimate Valby.
These additions expand the roster of playable Descendants, offering fresh tactical options for teams.
But that’s not all. The update also introduces a new Hard level Intercept battle featuring a formidable boss named Gluttony.
This challenging encounter is sure to test even the most skilled players, providing a satisfying endgame challenge for those who’ve mastered the basics.
For gear enthusiasts, the update brings an ultimate weapon to chase and a new module to track down. These additions promise to shake up loadouts and strategies across the game.
Beyond the flashy new content, Update 1.5 also makes significant changes under the hood. Several characters, including Valby and Freyna, have received buffs to improve their performance in battle.
The developers have also addressed various issues and implemented quality of life improvements, showing their commitment to polishing the player experience.
Free Rewards & XP Boosts
To celebrate the update and reward its loyal player base, a fresh allotment of in-game rewards has been unveiled by Nexon over on X/Twitter, accessible to the entire player base.

Hotfix Delay: Addressing Additional Issues
While the update and rewards have been met with enthusiasm, Nexon has announced a slight delay to a planned hotfix.
The devs are expanding the scope of the fix to tackle additional issues, demonstrating their commitment to game quality.
Although specific details haven’t been revealed, some players speculate that recent exploits related to the tank character Kyle might be among the targets.
A recently revealed content roadmap outlines updates and new features planned throughout 2024. Players can look forward to Season 1 launching in late August, followed by Season 2 in December.
Each season promises to bring new campaign episodes, characters, enemies, skins, and more to the title.
Last month, Nexon nerfed a popular “loot cave” farming spot, which had caused some discontent among players.
The developer promised “a more rational and satisfying farming experience” in the future, and these latest rewards seem to be a step in that direction.
The combination of major updates, free rewards, and a clear roadmap for future content shows a developer in tune with its player base and dedicated to long-term success.
These XP boost and rewards are only available for a limited time, so you’ll have to act fast if you want to take advantage.
