EA Sports has officially launched the 2026 Season Pack for F1 25, bringing Formula 1’s next era to the championship’s official video game.

Available now as a free update for existing F1 25 owners on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the expansion introduces the latest regulations, teams, drivers, and cars from the 2026 Formula 1 season. Players who do not already own the game can purchase the new 2026 Season Edition, which bundles F1 25 with the latest content update.

The headline addition is the arrival of Audi and Cadillac, both of which join the Formula 1 grid for the first time. Players can race as either team and experience the sport’s expanded line-up under the new regulations.

Cadillac enters the game with an experienced driver pairing of Valtteri Bottas and Sergio Perez, while Isack Hadjar moves into the Red Bull seat and Racing Bulls rookie Arvid Lindblad makes his Formula 1 gaming debut.

The update also gives players an early chance to learn the layout of the new MADRING circuit before Formula 1 visits Madrid for the Spanish Grand Prix later this year.

Designed to encourage close racing and overtaking opportunities, the street circuit provides the first virtual recreation of the venue ahead of its real-world debut in September.

For Formula 1 fans, it offers an opportunity to experience the track and explore its racing lines months before drivers take to the circuit for the first time.

The 2026 Season Pack introduces Formula 1’s latest technical regulations, bringing a completely new generation of cars to the game.

The updated machinery is lighter and smaller than previous designs, creating a more agile driving experience. Active aerodynamics also play a major role, with EA Sports implementing new Overtake and Boost systems that add another layer of strategy during races.

The changes are designed to reflect the direction Formula 1 is taking in 2026 while providing players with new tactical options behind the wheel.

EA Sports has also expanded accessibility and assist features, with improvements aimed at both controller users and players racing with steering wheel setups.

My Team Returns for Formula 1’s New Era

One of the series’ most popular modes also returns as part of the update.

My Team allows players to create and manage their own Formula 1 operation, joining the championship as the 12th team on the grid. Team owners will need to compete against Formula 1’s established manufacturers while adapting to the new regulations and competitive landscape introduced in the 2026 season.

Seven-time Formula 1 World Champion Lewis Hamilton continues his partnership with the franchise and remains a brand ambassador for the EA Sports F1 series as part of the 2026 Season Pack launch.

With new teams, fresh driver line-ups, updated regulations, and Formula 1’s newest circuit, the 2026 Season Pack marks one of the biggest post-launch updates F1 25 has received since release.
