Key Highlights:
- Eight Steam games are currently free to keep, with some offers ending within days.
- Critically acclaimed indie hit Gravity Circuit is among the biggest giveaways.
- Xbox Game Studios title Tell Me Why is free until July 1.
Steam users have the chance to permanently add eight games to their libraries at no cost, with the combined value sitting at around £100. Several of the offers are only available for a limited time, however, meaning players will need to act quickly if they want to grab everything before the promotions disappear.
While many free game giveaways focus on older or lesser-known titles, this latest batch includes a few standout releases. One of the biggest highlights is Gravity Circuit, the retro-inspired action platformer that became one of 2023’s best-reviewed indie games. Developed by Domesticated Ant Games, the title currently boasts a 95% positive rating from more than 2,127 Steam users as of this writing.
Another game worth claiming is Happy’s Humble Burger Farm. The horror adventure from Scythe Dev Team combines restaurant management with psychological horror and has built a strong reputation among fans, earning a 93% positive score on Steam.
Story-focused players may also want to look at The Red Lantern. Released in 2021, the dog-sled survival adventure follows a musher and her team of dogs across the Alaskan wilderness and currently holds an 84% user approval rating.
Meanwhile, Tell Me Why from Don’t Nod and Xbox Game Studios is once again available free of charge. The narrative adventure follows twins Tyler and Alyson Ronan as they uncover memories from their childhood. Microsoft traditionally makes the game free during Pride Month, giving players another opportunity to permanently add it to their collection.
Current free Steam games and expiry dates

| Gravity Circuit | Action Platformer | 95% Positive | June 14 |
| PICO Park: Classic Edition | Co-op Puzzle | Very Positive | June 14 |
| Happy’s Humble Burger Farm | Horror Adventure | 93% Positive | June 15 |
| Wild Terra 2: New Lands | MMORPG Survival | Mixed | June 15 |
| Eets | Puzzle | Very Positive | June 15 |

| Tell Me Why | Narrative Adventure | 80% Positive | July 1 |
| Linebound | Indie Puzzle | N/A | July 1 |
Although all eight titles are free, a few stand above the rest. Gravity Circuit is arguably the most notable thanks to its critical reception and comparisons to classic Mega Man games. Happy’s Humble Burger Farm offers something completely different for horror fans, while Tell Me Why remains one of Xbox Game Studios’ more unique narrative experiences.
Open-world MMORPG Wild Terra 2: New Lands has previously been highlighted by us as being free, so it is nothing new and can be a lower priority.
I think the expiry dates are just as important as the games themselves.
Players interested in claiming everything should probably prioritise Gravity Circuit and PICO Park: Classic Edition, as both offers end on June 14.
Even if none of these games were originally on your wishlist, permanently adding highly-rated titles to your library for free is hard to argue against, especially with several of the offers disappearing over the next few days.
