Epic Games has officially unveiled the long-awaited Fortnite Icon Series cosmetic bundle for British esports star Kyle “Mongraal” Jackson, making him the latest creator to receive an in-game outfit celebrating his impact on the battle royale.
The bundle arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop on July 28 at 8 PM ET / 1 AM BST, adding one of the game’s most recognisable competitive players to the growing Icon Series lineup.
Mongraal Joins Fortnite’s Biggest Names
The Icon Series recognises creators, athletes and entertainers who have left a lasting mark on gaming and popular culture.
Mongraal now joins a roster that includes names such as MrBeast, Clix, Harry Kane, Ariana Grande, Eminem and LeBron James, highlighting just how influential he has become since first breaking onto the Fortnite competitive scene as a teenager.
His long-time friend MrSavage got the same treatment last September, and he even got a nice tribute with a Shadow Bomb attached to the new Mongraal skin.
Having built a career spanning more than eight years, Mongraal has established himself as one of Britain’s biggest esports personalities, earning millions of followers across YouTube and Twitch through his tournament performances and livestreams. He is one of only two FNCS winners to get an Icon Skin, the other being World Cup winner Bugha.
Speaking about the announcement, Mongraal described receiving his own Fortnite skin as one of the defining moments of his career, saying he never imagined something like this would be possible when he first started playing at 13 years old.
According to the FN legend, the design process lasted around 18 months, with multiple revisions before settling on the final look. One of his favourite features is the outfit’s colour customisation, allowing players to personalise the skin instead of using a single fixed appearance. When watching him in his Twitch stream reveal, his face lit up when showcasing his Prime Mongraal Onesie skin.

Players can also customise the main Mongraal outfit using 10 different colours, with options to apply them as primary, secondary or dual-colour combinations. There are literally thousands of different variations of colours that can be used with all three skins.
Twitch Rewards Available Before Launch
Ahead of the full bundle release, Epic is also giving fans an opportunity to unlock one of the new cosmetics early.
The “GGs Bro!” emote will be available as a Twitch Drop from June 26, while the new FMMongraal global Twitch emote also launches on the same day.
A Milestone for British Fortnite
I think this is one of the most deserved Icon Series additions Epic Games has made in recent years. Few players have had Mongraal’s influence on Fortnite’s competitive scene, and despite taking breaks from the game over the years, he has remained one of the community’s most recognisable personalities. If he hadn’t of taken a break, he’d of had one a long time ago. His return to the spotlight with an official Epic Games collaboration feels like a fitting reward for one of Fortnite’s longest-standing stars.
