Four free Helldivers 2 PlayStation avatars are now available to PlayStation Plus members after players completed a community challenge to eliminate more than 500 million Voteless.
Sony says the target was reached in just six days. The reward can now be redeemed as a set of four PlayStation profile avatars through a regional voucher code.

The code displayed on PlayStation’s UK PlayStation Plus page differs from the North American voucher currently circulating online. North American accounts instead use:

The regional difference matters because PlayStation voucher codes are tied to the region of the account being used. Players should therefore use the code listed for their own PlayStation account rather than automatically copying the US code.
The four rewards form the Patriotic Portraits collection and depict Helldivers performing different poses associated with the game. The set includes Signal: Silence, Casual Salute, High-Five and At Ease.
Unlike an armour set or other Helldivers 2 cosmetic, these are PlayStation Network profile avatars. Once redeemed, they can be selected as the player’s account avatar rather than equipped inside the game.
I think the regional voucher difference is the most useful detail here. A UK player copying the widely shared North American code could reasonably assume the promotion had expired or was unavailable when they simply need Sony’s European voucher.
The giveaway completes the community challenge announced when Helldivers 2 joined PlayStation Plus Extra on 12 August. Players were originally tasked with eliminating 500 million Voteless by 18 August to unlock the four avatars.
That challenge accompanied the Devoid of Liberty update, which expanded the Illuminate conflict with new Void missions, mutated enemies and additional objectives. The same update also increased progression to 300 security ranks.
The PS5 version of Helldivers 2 now sits in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Game Catalogue. Its arrival formed the first part of Sony’s staggered August catalogue rollout before Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Vampire Survivors and the month’s remaining additions followed.
The avatar reward itself is broader than the Game Catalogue access. PlayStation’s UK page states that all PlayStation Plus members can claim the four avatars, meaning Essential subscribers are included alongside Extra and Premium members.
Sony currently does not list an expiry date for the Helldivers 2 avatar voucher on its UK PlayStation Plus page. Players who want the collection should therefore redeem it while the promotion remains active rather than assuming the code is permanent.
The code can be redeemed through PlayStation.com, the PlayStation App or the PlayStation Store on a console. After entering the correct regional voucher, the four Helldivers 2 avatars are added to the associated PlayStation account.
