SwizzY and Pixie Win FNCS Globals by 2 Points After Wild Final Game

After a final match that kept the championship alive until its closing seconds, Fortnite duo SwizzY and Pixie have won the 2026 FNCS Global Championship in Antwerp with 525 points, edging Shxrk and T3eny by just two.

Epic’s final leaderboard puts Vico and Malibuca third on 521, meaning only four points separated first from third after 12 matches. SwizzY and Pixie leave Belgium with the FNCS trophy and $400,000 from the tournament’s $2 million prize pool.

The numbers barely capture how dramatically the championship changed during the final game.

Vico and Malibuca had controlled the standings for much of the weekend. They ended Day 1 in first place with 304 points despite not winning any of the opening six matches, while SwizzY and Pixie sat fourth on 230 and Shxrk and T3eny were sixth on 219.

Their position was hardly surprising. Vico and Malibuca arrived in Antwerp after winning the FNCS Major 1 Summit and then becoming the first Fortnite duo to win consecutive major LAN events when they took the Reload Elite Series Championship at the Esports World Cup in August. A Global Championship victory would have extended that extraordinary LAN streak to three.

Instead, Game 12 ripped the championship open.

With Vico and Malibuca still firmly in the title fight, Shxrk and T3eny aggressively pushed the BIG duo and eliminated them. The pair continued scoring until T3eny eventually went down, leaving Shxrk alone with the championship still mathematically within reach.

What followed was one of those Fortnite endings where the live leaderboard almost becomes as important as what is happening on screen.

Shxrk continued surviving and fighting as a solo, knowing that another placement threshold could swing the entire championship. He was eventually eliminated, but the next surviving team went down only seconds afterwards. With Shxrk and T3eny ultimately finishing two points behind SwizzY and Pixie, one more placement jump would have been enough to change the champions.

Watching it live, that was the brutal part of the finish. It did not feel as though Shxrk had fallen comfortably short and the maths was being worked out afterwards. The title was genuinely still there for him in those final seconds.

Immediate reaction from the competitive Fortnite community reflected just how narrow it was, with viewers noting that the next team was eliminated only seconds after Shxrk and describing the final match as one of the most dramatic Global Championship finishes they had watched.

Shxrk and T3eny also finished with 45 eliminations, six more than the eventual champions and the highest total among the podium duos. Their 523 points were therefore not the product of simply hanging around for placement while others fought.

I think the stat that best captures this championship is that SwizzY and Pixie, Shxrk and T3eny, and Vic0 and Malibuca all won exactly one match. Twelve games did not produce one dominant podium team farming Victory Royales. Consistency, eliminations and individual placement thresholds eventually separated three duos by four points.

The result also completes a remarkable turnaround for SwizzY and Pixie.

At the 2025 FNCS Global Championship, which was played as Trios, SwizzY won alongside Merstach and Queasy with 697 points. Pixie was on the opposing MariusCOW and Vanyak3k trio that finished second with 650.

One year later, the format had returned to Duos and the two former rivals were competing together. SwizzY’s victory makes him the first player to win consecutive FNCS Global Championships, while Pixie has gone directly from Global runner-up to Global Champion.

Their 2026 partnership had already been building towards a major result. SwizzY and Pixie finished ninth at the Major 1 Summit, which was enough to secure an early Global Championship qualification spot, before improving to third in the European Major 2 Finals behind Sky and Scroll and runners-up Shxrk and T3eny.

The same three duos that eventually occupied the Antwerp podium were also fighting near the front at August’s Esports World Cup Reload Championship.

Vico and Malibuca won that event, Shxrk and T3eny finished third and SwizzY and Pixie came fourth. Different Fortnite formats make the results imperfect comparisons, but it shows this Global Championship finish was not three teams suddenly finding form on one weekend. They had been colliding near the top of major LAN competition for months.

A quick mention for the 2024 Global Champions Peterbot and Pollo who had a shocker over the course of the two days by their high standards. The pair just both weren’t at the races, and there was reports that Peterbot was feeling ill on Day 2 to be fair.

For Shxrk and T3eny, the sequence is particularly painful: second in FNCS Major 2 Europe, third at the Esports World Cup and now second at the biggest tournament of the year by two points.

Europe ultimately swept all three podium positions in Antwerp. Rapid and Clix were the highest-placed duo outside the region in fourth with 443 points, followed by more EU representatives in Sky and Scroll who finished fifth on 425.

The Global Championship brought 50 duos to Antwerp’s Lotto Arena for 12 matches across two sold-out days, marking the first time competitive Fortnite’s biggest event had been held in Belgium. Players had been qualifying since April for one of only 100 available places.

Competitive Fortnite has produced memorable LAN finishes before, including Cooper and Mero’s 2023 FNCS Global Championship victory, but Antwerp came down to margins almost absurdly small after an entire weekend of play.

SwizzY and Pixie leave as Global Champions with $400,000. Shxrk and T3eny take $240,000 for second, while Vico and Malibuca earn $160,000 in third.

For SwizzY, the win creates a record nobody else currently holds. For Pixie, it turns last year’s second place into a championship. And for Shxrk, there is an especially cruel number attached to one of the best solo attempts of the weekend: two points.
