Three more DLC packs will be released for Need For Speed Most Wanted in the not too distant future. A official release date so far has not been set, so we will let you know as soon as we do.

The updates should be for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 once they are released. Some PS3 trophy’s were discovered on the net this morning that suggests the downloadable content is imminent. The three packs will be named NFS Heroes, Movie Legends and Terminal Velocity.

This DLC brings back classic cars from previous NFS games that have been given a modern touch, along with a brand-new set of livery decals and an extended list of challenges to complete.

This pack features five legendary cars from Need for Speed history:

  1. The stunning Lamborghini Diablo SV from NFS III: Hot Pursuit
  2. The Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) from NFS: Underground
  3. The Nissan 350Z from NFS: Underground 2
  4. The BMW M3 GTR from the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)
  5. McLaren F1 LM from NFS: Hot Pursuit 2

Each vehicle comes with its own unique set of races and milestones, as well as a Most Wanted List event. Each car has a unique series of races and Milestones that players can compete in, like Speed Runs, Sprint Races, Circuit Races, Ambush events, and more. Beating each car’s unique Most Wanted event will reward the player with the car’s livery.

In addition to the exciting array of vehicles, players can delve into an assortment of eight exhilarating single-player sprint events, conquer 136 fresh multiplayer milestones, acquire fifty additional license plates, and unlock a plethora of rewards and surprises.
