Nintendo have today announced that Ubisoft’s upcoming Splinter Cell Blacklist will receive a Wii U version as well as the previously confirmed console versions. Many of the top gaming websites have been creating numerous rumours and gossip about a supposed Wii U edition, and now them little whispers have turned into a reality.
The release date for the Wii U version is the exact same as the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 versions, which is August 20th in North America and August 23 in the United Kingdom.
Ubisoft have said that Nintendo’s console will provide much enhanced gameplay features via the GamePad controller. Motion based and the GamePad touch screen will be interesting for the fans of the franchise to test out. Will you be getting Tom Clancy ‘s Splinter Cell Blacklist on the Wii U?
