Konami has released the first teaser trailer for PES 2014, offering an early look at the new FOX Engine before the game’s full reveal on 6 June.
The short video focuses on close-up player detail, ball control, physical challenges and stadium atmosphere rather than explaining individual game modes or features. The footage ends with the message “Everything is Engineered with Emotion”, reflecting Konami’s focus on more expressive players and match-day presentation.
The teaser follows Konami’s earlier confirmation that the series is moving to a new game engine for PES 2014, developed using technology from Kojima Productions’ FOX Engine.
Konami has already confirmed that PES 2014 will be revealed during its pre-E3 show on 6 June, where the publisher is expected to provide a much deeper look at the game.
Later update: Just days after the teaser, Konami officially announced PES 2014 and detailed six core gameplay systems, including TrueBall Tech, the Motion Animation Stability System, Heart and PES ID. The company also confirmed shortly afterwards that the game would not launch on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One.
