Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez has been confirmed by EA Sports to be the new north American cover star for the FIFA 14. The official EA Sports Twitter account tweeted a tweet with a picture that showed a shadowed figure earlier in the evening seen below.

The superstar was then later revealed in another tweet by EA as the current Manchester United and Mexico star Chicharito. There was a lot of guessing from fans on the social networking site as well, with most people saying that it was LA Galaxy’s Robbie Keane. Other famous names that cropped up was Landon Donavan, Tim Cahill, Carlo Cudicini and Neymar.
FIFA 14 will be releasing this fall on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Wii U on Sept 24th in NA, and Sept 27 in Europe. Both next-gen version will be launched next year at some point.
