Need for Speed: Rivals has had an extremely busy day today, with new screens, a brand new police class is on the way, some pre-order bonus details, and police players can unlock some super-cool cars.
James Mouat said on the official Need For Speed website that cutomisation will be absolutely vital to the Need for Speed: Rivals’ AllDrive mode. It’s going to allow friends to recognise each other on the roads of Redview County.
All racers will have the option of pimping up their ride in the colours and, designs and logos that they see fit. If players choose the cop faction however, they’ll have much more limited choices to make their cars stand out. Depending on which of the classes you play with, various versions of police vehicles will actually unlock and be made available.
There’s been quite a few classes that have already been announced so far, the Patrol cars seem to be the easiest of the lot to unlock. The Enforcer vehicles actually have greater damage than anything else.
Ghost Games have already promised that they’ll unveil a brand new police class which will join the already named Enforcer and Patrol. EA’s gamescom event will most likely be the time when all is revealed on August 20th.
For gamers who’re thinking of pre-ordering the racer, they’ll be entitled to the Ultimate Cop Pack. This particular add-on pack will grant players access to a bonus allotment of banked Speed Points, a custom Colorful Dream livery, and SRT Viper Time Attack.
Need for Speed: Rivals drives it’s way to the Xbox 360, Windows PC, and PlayStation 3 on November 19th worldwide, and an Xbox One and PS4 version is to be confirmed.
