Microsoft has revealed the lineup of free games for Xbox Games with Gold in April. Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players can expect two free titles to download completely free of charge and the details for both are below.
- Peaky Blinders: Mastermind (April 16th to May 15th)
- Out of Space: Couch Edition (April 1st-30th)
Out of Space: Couch Edition is a strategic game set in outer space where you are the captain of a spaceship house. You must manage your resources while strategically dealing with a deadly alien infestation to create a sustainable environment.
Players can enjoy exploring the cosmos with friends during the game. This selection will be available from April 1st to the 30th.
Peaky Blinders: Mastermind is based on the hit TV series starring Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby, Birmingham’s ruthless crime boss. Players will control six members of the Shelby family, each with their own strengths and weaknesses.
The objective is to uncover a plot to put the Shelby’s out of business. The game is set before the events of the first season of the show and will be available from April 16th to May 15th.
It’s worth stating that these are not the games that gamers were all hoping for and the Gold pass has been disappointing for quite some times now. All you have to do is go to the reviews each months and there are some very upset customers that want much better quality titles released but Microsoft don’t look like they’re budging anytime soon.
The previous month’s Games with Gold titles are still available, but players have a limited time to grab Trüberbrook and Sudden Strike 4: Complete Collection. Additionally, Xbox Game Pass subscribers were treated to the addition of several games, including the new release MLB The Show 23, in March.
