After the release of Hogwarts Legacy, fans clearly favoured Slytherin, with Gryffindor following closely behind in second place. Ravenclaw was in the third position, and Hufflepuff was not popular at all in last place. The order has remained unchanged on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, with Gryffindor and Slytherin still in close competition, while Ravenclaw lags far behind in third place, and Hufflepuff remaining the least popular house in Hogwarts Legacy by a significant margin. However, the Steam achievements present a different perspective.

In the realm of Hogwarts Legacy on Steam, the trend of Slytherin’s dominance continues as 27.6% of players attained the Map Chamber achievement as a member of the house. However, Gryffindor has lost its runner-up status to Ravenclaw, with 22.9% of players achieving the same feat under its banner. Meanwhile, Gryffindor still has a respectable 21.3% of players who have unlocked the achievement, while Hufflepuff trails behind with only 13.5% at this moment in time.

Future Releases

With the launch of the action-RPG on PS4 and Xbox One just a month away, the gaming community is eager to see how the statistics for the game change. Millions of new players will be able to embark on their adventure at Hogwarts, and it will be fascinating to observe how they will influence the popularity of each house. It is noteworthy that these players on older-gen consoles might have more knowledge about the advantages and disadvantages of each house, which could potentially affect the game’s statistics.

Additionally, we must take into account the release of Hogwarts Legacy on the Nintendo Switch on July 25th, which presents a unique challenge in determining the most popular house. The Switch’s absence of an exclusive achievement or trophy system complicates the process of discerning players’ preferred house on Nintendo’s hybrid console. Nonetheless, it will also be fascinating to observe how the stats for the Nintendo Switch version compare to those of other platforms.

Hogwarts Legacy is currently out right now for Xbox Series X, PS5 and Windows PC, the Xbox One and PS4 versions will arrive on May 5th and the Switch version as previously mentioned will be heading your way on July 25th.
